We discovered by chance the amazing taste and benefits of using the coffea arabica fruit as a natural alternative to tea, coffee, and energy drinks while on vacation in Kona, Hawaii in the summer of 2015.
While visiting a local coffee farm, we had the chance to try some fresh brewed coffee fruit tea. At that time, we had no idea that coffee was even a fruit, or that it contained enough caffeine, electrolytes, and antioxidants to beat out other so-called "healthy" beverages on the market.
Over time, we learned about the social, economic, and environmental good that could come from harvesting and using the coffee fruit. We realized the impact that this forgotten super fruit could have on the lives of millions of caffeine-consuming, health conscious people around the world. And we understood, on a higher level, the chance we had to make a positive change in the world.
Instead of wasting the coffee fruit during the depulping process of production, the coffee farmers we partner with are able to earn more on top of their traditional income from green coffee exports. In return, we're able to provide you with a natural, healthier alternative to the caffeinated energy drinks of today.
This is all the good, without the bad. This is fruit tea for the rest of us.
